Old Shots & Tater Tots

Anybody that does a daily blog has taken upon a task that is addicting, heart felt, disappointing and down right lays the guilt on heavy when one does not post. How anyone does it everyday is beyond me.

I guess I'm lucky I'm not a catoonist...

As a fan of certain peolpes blogs, I look forward to their daily rants, observations, etc. When they take a day off it kind of bumms me out - seriously. Is that weird? I don't even know these people. I have to get out of here!

That's the same feeling I got when the cartoonist of Calvin & Hobbes fame decided the characters had run their coarse and it was time to end the strip. It felt as though I had lost a close friend - they would never be there for me in the morning over coffee and get my day started off with a laugh (or a least a slight chuckle). Jackass!

What I'm getting at, is that I can't do this everyday - I need my space. I love you, but I need to see other people too. Please come and check from day-to-day and who knows, there may be a little something for you to read or look at... that's right baby, I want my cake and eat it to.

Check out this clip of Mat Weddle of Obadiah Parker. It is possibly the best version of "Hey Ya" from the band Outkast that I have heard. Very heartfelt and the lyrics are great.

There were a couple of turtles swimming around in this image below. After I shot this, I slowly climbed in the water to swim with them. Wish I had a water camera at that time - it was so cool.
